1. Rollergirl Knockout 2/15/09: The Women's Shelter of Columbia
The mission of the Women's Shelter is to provide a safe environment for homeless women in crisis and the necessary resources to build strong and healthy lives.
2. March On Ya' Face 3/29/09: The Blue Star Mother's Palmetto Project
Blue Star Mothers works to support soldiers and their families. The Midlands Chapter's current projects include: A Yellow Ribbon Campaign, sending phone cards and other supplies to deported soldiers, sending supplies to help children in Iraq and Afghanistan, and supporting families of deported soldiers.
3. Back To School'n Ya! 8/8/09: School Supplies Drive
The Richland County Regulators conducted a school supply drive to benefit St. Andrews Middle School.
4. Whip It Good 10/17/09: SC Progressive Network
The purpose of the South Carolina Progressive Network is to promote - through education and action - human, civil, reproduction and workers' rights, environmental protection and government reform. The South Carolina Progressive Network is a coalition of grassroots activists who have joined forces to promote social and economic justice in the Palmetto State.
5. November Pain 11/15/09: Harvest Hope Food Bank
The mission of the Harvest Hope Food Bank is to provide for the needs of hungry people by gathering and sharing quality food with dignity, compassion and education. Harvest Hope has food pantry locations in Columbia, Lexington County, Greater Greenville, and Florence Pee Dee.
6. Fat Bruiseday 2/20/10: Happy Wheels
Each week both MUSC and PHCH (Medical University of South Carolina and Palmetto Health Children's Hospital), volunteers push a cart loaeded with an average of 90 colorful new toys and books around the hospital, letting each child pick his or her favorite. A child's smile, when reaching to pick out a gift, is all the reward the participating volunteers seek. The cart, loaded with toys and books, offers a free gift to all the children whose maladies include cancer, heart and lung diseases and other numerous other problems.
